Notice: Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to theGoogle Workspace API User Data Policy, including theLimited Use requirements for Workspace APIs and the Limited Use requirements for Photos APIs. We affirm that our application LoopNoteMeet complies with these policies and only uses your Google data to provide the services you request.

Privacy Policy for LoopNote Meet

LoopNote Meet respects your privacy. We collect minimal data to provide our meeting assistant services, including audio/video summaries and task management. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Information We Collect

Name, email address (via Google login), meeting transcription data, and Google Calendar events (when connected).

How We Use It

For generating summaries, improving services, authentication, and displaying your calendar events in our app.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, transfer, or disclose your Google user data with any third parties. Your calendar data is only used within our application to provide you with calendar integration features. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Data Protection Mechanisms

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your sensitive data:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS protocols
  • Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
  • Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Secure authentication through Clerk OAuth provider

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services:

  • Meeting recordings and transcriptions: 30 days after processing
  • Calendar event data: Until you disconnect your Google Calendar or delete your account
  • User account data: Until you delete your account
  • You can request data deletion anytime by contacting us at [email protected]
  • Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 7 days

AI/ML Model Usage

Our application uses AI/ML models to process meeting transcriptions and generate summaries. This AI processing:

  • Only processes the meeting data you upload to our service
  • Does not use your Google Calendar data for AI training
  • Processes data solely to provide meeting summaries and insights
  • Does not share processed data with third-party AI services

Google Limited Use Compliance

We comply with Google's Limited Use restrictions. We only use your Google Calendar data to:

  • Display your calendar events in our application
  • Provide calendar integration features you requested
  • We do not use this data for advertising, AI training, or any other purpose

Third-party Services

We use Google OAuth, Cloudinary, and Recall.ai. Your data is handled according to their policies too.
